East Coast Capital Corp., a New York corporation, was formed on January 11, 1999 by Seth Fass, who is the Company’s President and sole shareholder. A 1993 graduate of Michigan State University, Seth began working as a loan officer in 1997 and has been highly regarded in the industry for over a decade.
Starting as a two-man operation out of a single office in Great Neck, New York, the Company has its main offices in Melville, New York and fifteen branch locations throughout the country. With 150 employees including 85 licensed loan officers, the Company places strong emphasis on training and continuing education for all staff and has employed outside counsel to monitor compliance with the recent developments in federal and state laws and regulations. To maintain effective controls, all loan processing and underwriting is performed at the main offices in Melville, New York.
The Company is currently licensed in thirty-four (34) states and has a varied product focus including home equity lines of credit, reverse mortgages, VA loans, FHA loans, and jumbo and conventional loans. Having closed in excess of $5,000,000,000 in loans over the past 20 years, and with over $375,000,000 currently in the pipeline, the Company is well positioned to expand its business nationwide through word of mouth and the use of internet, print and alternative media marketing.
